How to choose McGuire-Nicholas tool pouches
Electrician or carpenter
Electrician pouches have slots for pliers, screwdrivers, a tape clip and a chain for electrical tape. Carpenter pouches trade those slots for deep fastener pockets and a spot for a framing square.
Leather type
Oil-tanned leather stays supple. Suede is light and grips tools. The tan carpenter pouch is thick top-grain leather that stands open for nails.
How it hangs
Check the loop. Most pouches take a belt up to 3 in wide, and the mini organizer clips on with a metal clip.
