A full tool belt pulls down on your hips and back all shift. These suspenders take part of that load up onto your shoulders. Gelfoam padding sits where the straps cross your shoulders, so the weight spreads out instead of digging in. Hook them to your belt in the morning and your back carries less by the afternoon.
The suspenders are black, with gelfoam padding on the shoulder straps. They are built to bear load, not just hold up pants, so they pair with a work belt that carries pouches. The Ergonomic Padded Support Belt 500-08 has D-rings made for padded suspenders. Adjust the straps so your belt sits level at your hips.

Suspenders relieve back pain!
My husband loves these! In the past we had to create our own padded suspenders. The clips are a little weak and he had to cut a slit in the belt designated to use with them, then use cable ties to make sure the clips did not open. But, he is very happy with them and we bought a second set to have one in the shop and one in the truck. He has always liked this brand of product and it did not disappoint.
Quality suspender system
There were some mixed reviews when I purchased these suspenders for my work toolbelt but so far have far exceeded expectations. I am constantly climbing ladders, working on staging, and moving around. I have had no issues with these attaching to my toolbelt. I've been it for months. For the price I paid I have already gotten my moneys worth. Would buy again in the future.
Weak Clasps
Fit was good for me. I'm 5' 10" and had enough slack to adjust to my size. Padding was ok for the price range and moderate "load bearing". Clasps that clip onto your pants were sub-par. I would occasionally lean over and a clasp would let go. This was annoying. I have the heavy duty tool suspender rig made by Occidental that I use if I'm wearing a fully loaded tool belt, so I cannot compare these to the high quality of those in terms of comfort and performance. I bought these for days when I only need to clip a couple of tool pouches onto my belt and don't want my pants to slide down. These are great if you don't plan on bending over. They need to beef up the clasps and then they'll have a really nice set of work suspenders.
Great for the price
I've put my suspenders through the ringer and they're still going strong. No tares, no rips, nothing broke for over 3 months of hard work on site. One minor issue is that the clips sometimes come open so I just wrapped them in electrical tape to keep them closed. No biggie. Love em.
Early failure rate
I bought and used 2 of these within 8 months. the first one failed at 6 months of daily use . The second one barely lasted more than a month of daily use. Both fell apart in the D ring area behind the shoulders. Otherwise it seems like a great pair of suspenders and was very comfortable. I am very disappointed.DC
Great product at great price
Bought this for none supported tool belt. Product works excellent. Construction is very good and straps are very comfortable.. recommended highly. Cell phone pouch a joke.
