About the Suspension Framing Rig, Ballistic Nylon

Framing means hours of reaching for nails, a tape and a pencil while you stand on plates and climb ladders. This rig puts 30 pockets and loops around your waist, so each tool gets a home and you stop digging. The suspenders carry part of the weight on your shoulders. Your phone rides in its own pocket on the belt or the strap.
The rig is black ballistic nylon with gray trim. Rubber reinforces the corners at the stress points. The belt and suspenders use gel foam padding and a moisture-wicking lining, and you can wash them. The toolbar system stays light for a rig this size. Loosen the suspenders before you put it on, then snug them once the belt sits at your hips.
Pick another model if
This is a big kit made for framers who carry a lot. If you work mostly inside on trim or service calls, it is more than you need. A single pouch like the Mini Organizer 804 on a plain belt keeps you lighter. Electricians will do better with the Electrician's Pouch 72500T.
Use and care
- Wash the padded belt and suspenders when sweat builds up, then let them air dry fully.
- Brush sawdust and grit out of the pockets so it does not grind the nylon seams.
- Hang the rig by the suspenders between jobs so the pockets keep their shape.

Not exactly as pictured
It's not exactly as pictured but close enough there is no green as the picture shows on the stitching and Maguire Nicholas on the pouch itself is the original labeling not the MN design that they show. My last McGuire Nicholas pouch last of me over 20 years so we'll see how this one does. I'm used to having my square inside the big pouch on the left this particular belt has the square holder on the outside of the big pouch on the left I'm showing a few years I'll get used to it. The suspenders are nice I have them tightened up as small as they'll go I am 6 ft 2, so if you're any shorter you may need to purchase different suspenders. We'll see how long this lasts

Smaller than advertised
It's a nice rig. Being a bigger guy I liked the fact that it will fit up to a 53" waste. Well that's not true. The sizing runs small. I wear a size 44 pant and I have to wear this rig on the first set of holes on the belt. The padded belt is small, if the padded belt was bigger you would have more room to adjust the placement of the bags.

Great initially but poorly stitched together!! After just 4 months the front hammer holster ripped followed by the pouches it was attached to

Yes. The gel foam padded belt and suspenders are washable. Let them dry fully before you load the rig again so the lining stays fresh.
