About the Tuff Shell Knee Pads

Gardening, pipe work and painting all put you on your knees. These pads cushion the joint with tough EVA foam and keep the weight low. The contoured, low-profile shape moves with you between kneeling and standing. When the day is done, a quick spray of water cleans off the mud and dust, and the pads are ready for tomorrow.
The pads are made from EVA foam in navy and black and come as one pair. An elastic strap with a tri-buckle closure wraps the back of your leg, so you can set the fit and keep it through the day. The shape stays low and contoured for comfort. Adjust the buckle with the pads on and your knee bent.

EVA foam keeps these pads light, but there is no gel inside. For long days on finished floors, the Pro Hinge Floor Walker 30511-1 adds gel padding and a non-marring cap. If you want double wide straps instead of a buckle system, the Non-Marring Knee Pads 22377-3 are the pick.
Use and care
- Hose or spray off mud and dust after outdoor work, then let the pads dry.
- Check the tri-buckle and elastic strap now and then and reset the fit.
- Store the pads away from direct heat so the EVA foam keeps its shape.

No painful chafing! Hooray !
I was going to give these 4 stars because, while they are fairly comfortable, I could still feel the strap bunch up behind my knees.HOWEVER! I'm upping them to 5 stars thanks to my lovely working cocker, Poppy. She stole and hid one of my knee pads, the little twerp. Oh well, I thought, I have a back up pair I can use. So I grabbed an old knee pad - the kind with velcro on the strap.The back of that knee is chafed absolutely raw! The knee with this pad on it? Painless and protected!I have combed house and yard for the missing knee pad. Nothing. I've bribed Poppy with toys, bacon, and walkie but she isn't taking. The other dogs aren't snitching either. So, guess I'll be buying a replacement pair. It's coming out of her allowance though!

Much needed knee pads for everyday work use. Had some Crocks Knee pads that I had bought at Ross for $6.00 but surpriseingly with that same EVA foam material it lasted for 7yrs. Had bought different type of knee pads after, none lasted. Them cheap to high price stich or added protection plate didn't even last from the type of fluid or debris I deal with. As an Automotive mechanic for 25yrs I've been wearing knee pads on at all times for 15yrs. So far these pads are very comfortable it doesn't roll your pants up looking like Steve Urkel. The only con is the straps, they tend to loosen off.
New pad material is not good - soft - but not durable. Gromets pull right through pad.
Since the change in material to a softer compound - they are not good. I bumped my knee and the gromet pulled through the pad. Never happened before when using the better pad. True the new ones are softer when knelling on them - but NOT worth it now. Went through 2 pair in less than 2 months - where the older ones one pair lasted for years. Won't be buying these again unless they go back to the older pad.
Definitely my Favorite knee pads
I've had 4 pairs in a span of 7 years. They are really lightweight and comfortable I forget I have them on at times and if you put the back strap inside of the tighting part again they dont slip. only problem I've had is one side came apart in a week. I'm sure it was a bad batch because the other ones worked fine. The only down side is some times they come in regular size and some are a little smaller. Would I buy them again ? Definitely! These are my favorite knee pads I install prefabricated metal buildings and use these up to 12 hrs a day 5 days a week

I've been using these kneepads for about 10 years now they absolute best won't use anything else hopefully they come backin stock again

How do I clean them?
Spray them off with water. The EVA foam cleans quickly, so mud, dust and grime come off without scrubbing. Let them dry before you strap them on again.
