When you work on a finished floor, the last thing you want is a scuff mark from your own knees. These pads have a TPR face that will not mark or scratch floors. They stay light on your legs, so you can move in and out of tight spaces and still get a stable base when you kneel.
The face is TPR, a thermoplastic rubber that stays non-marring. A single wide elastic strap goes around your leg, and a hook-and-loop closure holds it. You can adjust the fit in a few seconds. The pads come as a pair in black and are built for general all-terrain use.

Tough Knee Pads
Love my knee pads! They are well-made, tough and great on hard surfaces. Velcro makes them easy to strap on and off. Good Value!
Small pads with no cushioning. Just rubber with fabric liner
Small and literally zero cushioning. No gel or foam. Just rubber with a fabric liner. On the plus side it's comfortable to put on. Gave my knee some stability too. But for my job, it's not going to work. I kneel on jagged railroad ballast and I'm pretty sure I will feel every sharp edged rock digging into my already damaged knees These are going back.

Useful for small jobs, not for extended use
I love how form-fitting (for me) the pads are, and how lightweight they are. However, that's where the positives seem to stop. There's almost no padding, whatsoever. The "monster" description given by McGuire-Nicholas is a deception: These kneepads are small.Only useful for small jobs, when you're not needing to kneel for long periods of time.
